Hair should be a minimum 1/4”-1/2,” which is about the length of a long grain of rice. We recommend growing out the hair for a minimum of 14 days prior to waxing, to ensure it will be long enough for the wax to properly adhere and remove. Is your hair longer? Not to worry; we can trim if need be, but most likely that won’t be necessary.

This can vary depending on the person, but most waxing services should be done every 3-4 weeks. Consistency is key for obtaining optimal results and the ongoing benefits, like finer, softer hair and a more painless experience.

We use two different types of wax, formulated specifically for Wild Honey Skin Co. Generally, our Estheticians will use the hard wax formula for the face and more sensitive areas of the body, like underarms and bikini. Since hard wax shrink wraps around the hair, there’s less pull from the skin, creating a more comfortable experience for most of our clients. We tend to use our soft wax for larger areas of the body, such as legs, arms, chest and back. That being said, our Estheticians will be sure to tailor the experience by selecting the wax that is most suitable for your hair type, skin type and comfort level. Sometimes that means using both formulas to get the best results.

You can expect to be hair-free for a minimum of 1-2 weeks following your wax appointment.
